Is there any way to recover the file or is it just gone in to space? Sharon
Hello list: Today I went in to word and opened up a file on the storage
drive. It was a doc file so I said to translate it. I then was going to open
a file on the flash drive. I did the ou chord and it said that the first
file had been translated and did I want to save it? I said that I did not.
Then I went to open up the second file that I was going to open. It saved
the first document over it. I had never even opened the first file. Both
files had different names and were stored on separate drives in separate
folders. I can't figure out why it overwrote the second file with the first
when I hadn't even told it to save or replace the first one.
I'm so upset because I lost the file. You guys at Pulsedata need to have a
recovery method for recovering files in such cases. Both files were bank
related. Yes it was my fault that I hadn't backed them up. I thought that I
had once but can't find that on the computer.
