Hi Bob, I suspect given the numbers involved that there may be a software issue in the 5.1 ROM, in which case the upgrade should proceed fine.
KeySoft 6.1 is now in the latter part of the release candidate phase, which is the last part of the process before we release. It's very close now and with every release candidate we build from now on, it is possible that we decide that this one is the right one. I hope to be in a position to be specific about dates very soon, and to be posting lots of detail to the list about how the upgrade will work.
