My ISP offers Web mail, and I use it to check my personal Email at work,
because POP3 access is blocked. With Web mail, everything is displayed on a
web page, and you have all of the options that you have with POP3. The bad
thing is that the contact list on your PC isn't there, so you will have to
recreate it for use with Web mail. Also, your web Email address may be
different than your POP Email address, so if you want to reply to messages
on Web mail, you will have to change either your POP address or Web mail
address so they are the same. Your folders are displayed as links, so if
you want to access your INBOX you click on the INBOX link. The titles and
authors of messages are displayed as links, so to read a message, you will
have to click its link, and then a message text window will open. If you
want to reply, simply click the reply button, and an edit field will appear.
As I said before, it is functional, and can be a way to access Email if Web
access is all that's available, but I surely wouldn't want to depend on it
for the majority of Email processing.
