Hi Dean and Jonathan! I am having a serious translation issue with the Braille Note. When vacationing in Hawaii after doing e-mail I had no translation in my journal file about the trip no matter what I did. I checked out every option in the Options menu regarding Braille, I set the type to automatic and still nothing but strangely enough, when I made a new file whenarriving home, the translation kicked in. Also the clock was totally a mess while I was gone refusing to work in 12 hour mode even though it was set at us. format 12 hour time. I am toying with sending it back for cleaning anyway but it is extremely disconserting to say the least to read everything in uncontracted Braille and the weirdest part is that when I did e-mail it was all in Grade 2 or contracted Braille. What is going on with this machine? I don't think its something which can be duplicated on the fly which is why I really think it needs to be looked at.What are your opinions? Thanks.
