As has been said in many ways and by many persons on this list, there are many great suggestions and solutions being posted to this list. Also, often the discussions drift from the original subject and the subject title does not get changed. Many users, it would seem, would rather ask a question than try and find the answer in the archive. I, for one, was one who did try to see if my questions had been answered and that answer resided in the archive. After a while, I too found that searching the archive to be way too cumbersome and time consuming. If, however, a full text search engine could be installed on the archive, one could search for the subject they are interested in quite quickly and without regard for the actual subject titles of the messages. This could reduce the number of posts on the same subjects (of course this would depend on the amount of usage) and could be a big step towards that resource database that was discussed a few weeks ago.
