Dear Jane, Chad and List,

I prefer to have my braille books in separate volumes. I don't think the BN
could handle the Bible in one big file because it's almost 5 megs! Even
with the new upgrade, I wouldn't want the file to be that big.

The volumes in books like Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix are
smaller than usual because they are what is called "jiffy braille."

The digital braille producers are still tied to making the .brf files to be
exactly like books embossed on paper. Most paper braille books can't exist
in one huge volume.

If Keysoft had about 100 bookmarks or even 1000 bookmarks, then you could
really "mark up" a book and find sections within large files easily.

But with only 26 bookmarks available, it isn't practical to put many
bookmarks in a file.

The processor would have to be much faster to accommodate books as large as
the Bible or Tolkien's The Lord of the Ring series.
