I have, and still do, travelled here and there, even across the Atlantic to 
Europe and beyond with my BrailleNote and laptop as carry-ons and HAVE 
ENCOUNTERED NO PROBLEMS with security.  I have met friendly people every 
step of the way; I do allow them to screen all my adaptive equipment and 
such; this is what they do to everyone--so, in a nutshell, I don't believe 
you need to be scared about taking your laptop and BrailleNote with you when 
you travel!!
