James,The answers are: no, no, no.
The PK is made in Germany and they're happy with the unit as it is.
You will just have to find the money to puy one. Sell your voicenote and 
save your pennies for a few years. Consider an assistive technology loan 
or ask your company to buy it. You'll have to find a way.
