The short answer is that if both machines are connected to your wireless 
network, then yes, you can transfer files between the two devices just 
fine. Here is the longer answer.

There are two modes in which you might establish an 802.11 wireless 
connection. Infrastructure mode is the most common, and involves all 
machines on the network connecting to a wireless access point. Using this 
method, you can use the extensive new networking capabilities of Keysoft 
6.1 to transfer files from the BrailleNote to another machine on the 
network. The second kind of wireless connection is an ad hoc connection, a 
direct connection between two computers. The BrailleNote doesn't contain 
its own server at this time, so this method will not work for transferring 
files. But this second method is much less common.
