Hi, Beth: I hope I am interpreting what you are saying correctly.  In the 
utilities menu, you can either forward translate, from braille to text, or back 
translate.  I may be saying this in the reverse.  In the manual, there is a 
section about formatting.  I wish I knew enough about what is in the pk to tell 
you anything.  hth
