Terry Powers it sounds to me like you are writing in Nemath Code. I don't
know what the Braille Note does about Nemath as I very rarely use the
calculator except to add up mialiage that I have walked and usually simply
listen to the totals and don't check the Braille. However, next time after
the BN gets back I'll have a look.
But Plus is 3 4 6 Minus is 3 6 and when I was in school 50 years ago we
wrote the times as dots 1 6 and the division sign is dots 3 4.
If the Braille isn't coming up that way, check how you have it translating,
e. g. computer Braille Uncontraccted Braille and Contracted Braille. I do
not know whether there is a way or I mean a choice as to math methods on
that machine or not. I quite frankly think I am getting my Braille Lite
mixed up in here. Anyway on one of my machines I had the choice of using
English Math Symbols or Nemath and I can't recall now which machine it is.
But this is probably not making one bit of sense and you guys have no idea
how frustrating this is writing answers and not being able to back my
answers up by checking these things out but my little Ferdinand will be back
good as new very soon.
