Hello bob,

the remote synthesizer mode is used in conjunction with a screen reader.
There is no current version of KeySoft that will run on a PC.

I'm not sure what else I can add to what has been quoted from the manual.

However, as I said in my off list email to Rhonda yesterday, the BrailleNote
will only act as a synthesizer for Jaws users who are running Windows
95/98/ME.
