Hello All: I am a child of technology and have been using whatever technology I could get my hands on that would make my life easier since the early 80's. Like one of our other listers, I started out my school career typing on a Smith Carona electric typewriter. I dreamed of the day when I could (imagine that) be able to type my notes in class. In the early 90's I tried laptops but found them to be more trouble than they were worth in class. Finally I discovered note takers and the rest was history.
I picked my PDI product quite simply because it was built better. When you pick up the VoiceNote and a product from the compitition, the differences are startling. This thing is built like a brick. It feels more solid and like it can, and has, taken the abuses a road warrior like myself can throw at it with very few problems. And we won't even get into the joys of traveling with an accessible GPS. That could and has filled many other postings. But suffice it to say it is a dream come true for someone who loves to travel and is somewhat stubbern about his indipendant travel abilities. This thing and it's attached paripherals are around my shoulder so often, my kids are starting to call me RoboDad. My eldest one asked me if I'm ever "Not connected" to something and patting my VoiceNote I quite honestly answered "No" Have an awesome day Jeff Molzow [EMAIL PROTECTED]
