I know I don't post much to this list, but I thought I'd share my happy pdi
experience. First, let me say it is great that you can actually call them
and get the status of your repair at any time. I had decided to send my bn
in on Thursday after getting an RMA number for a cleaning and a new
battery. I called yesterday to see how things were going and they said
that it had been dropped and extra work was needed. I'm glad they did what
was needed because the last thing I need is for a bn to fail in the middle
of a semester. They took my credit card info as they said they needed that
to proceed, and gave me an estimate of the current cost. Today I saw a
charge made to my credit card, and called to enquire about whether it was
shipping, and they informed me that it was shipping out today. They also,
upon my request, agreed to email me the tracking number of my
shipment! and just to clarify, the charge made to my credit card was a
temporary charge, and I am assuming it wouldn't be made permanent until the
unit had actually shipped. I am very pleased with the pdi staff I dealt
with. Great job!
