Well, you didn't say anything about DOS supporting USB. Natively supporting
USB? But, there is the serial port, and USB is also serial. There are some
USB-to-Serial adapters that may work if you can get a software USB disk that
will run in DOS. If you can't, and you really have to have USB, just
upgrade to Windows ME. After being a staunch advocate of Windows 98 for
more than 5 years, I changed to ME because I had to buy a new computer. ME
is a lot like 98, but has a lot more features. Get it, I think you will
like it. It's a lot more user-friendly than XP, and it supports USB-2,
which is a lot better than USB-1.

Yes, I know you can get to DOS under Windows 98; but DOES DOES NOT natively
support USB.
