Charles & Sharon: At this point in time, PDA's aren't effected by viruses. They target the PC world, not exclusively though. As the BN is not effected by these now, there is nothing cast in stone that this won't change.
Also, if you receive email on your BN, there is nothing to say that you can't carry a virus, & pass it along. Your BN may not be infected, or effected, but if the next person you send that email to is using a PC, they can be infected. No, this isn't geniology 101, but it certainly sounds like it, doesn't it? I know this isn't a perfect answer, however, since nobody else had answered you, I took a stab. Now, the question we asked, and didn't get any responses to is this, "For those of us who are new to this, how can you tell a virus from another message, and, is the BN protected?" > We would definitely appreciate some feedback. > > > ___ > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote > > >
