The QWERTY keyboard is noisier when you type using 6 key entry and it's
pretty quiet when you type with the regular QWERTY keyboard.

If you want to reduce sound with either keyboard, you could turn off the
braille display.  The sounds of the pins won't be heard, but the convenience
of reading braille will be lost.
