I have a CompactFlash Ethernet card, plugged into the back slot on my BN.
This is connected to my router, which is connected to my cable modem. I can
go on the internet, download files, and do Email, but I can't access my
network without ActiveSync.

Subject: [Braillenote] Does the BN need Active Sync for internet?

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if all you want to do is connect to the internet, do you need
to use Active Sync? If not how is this achieved? I'm trying to connect my
BN directly to my Netgear router without having the BN connected to my
actual desktop computer. In other words, I want the BN to act just like
another computer off the router. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance,

David Truong
