On your first point, I believe it is the case with all pks. PDI, is this a bug? About the battery gauge reporting 86 percent, I remember Dean mentioning to me that if the cf card is in the pk, the gauge will not report the battery status accurately. I have also observed that you have to query the state of the battery a couple of times after unplugging the charger before you get a reading of 99 percent. Another question for PDI. Can PK be programmed to inform the user once the battery is fully charged?

Subject: [Braillenote] charger

Hi, When I plug the charger into my PK, I don't automatically hear "AC Adapter on" as I did with my Braille-Note. When I turn the PK on after plugging it in, I hear the message, but not before. I do have to turn it on in order to hear the message. Is this normal PK behavior? Also, the PK does seem to take a very long time to charge. I plugged it in on Saturday evening, and when I unplugged it and checked the power status this morning by pressing chord o and then p, it only said 86%.
Thanks for any advice on these matters.
Rosemary
