Yes, I had the problem, and Bob told me what to do.  The problem was though you 
have to hit that d at just the right point in the process.  I wish I had 
another problematic message so I could find out just where I hit that d after 
several trials.  What I think I did was hit it after all that yammering about 
unable to find a specified file.  It didn't say delete, just moved to the next 
message, but it disappeared.  Does this help?

I'm assuming that's the kind of message you have.  I've dealt with the other 
kind with junk in the attachments.  I found the delete option by using h chord. 
 Which kind of bad message do you have?






Hey, now look, no mischief around here! (grin.).  I'm being careful what I wish 
for.  It was just a passing thought, okay?You can hit return after you're in 
helpmode to skip it and get the rest of your email, though.  Then you can play 
with it later.  If worse comes to worse, clean out your box, call your ISP, and 
tell the techie to delete the first message in your box.
