Hello Will, Obviously no amount of assistance I give you now will bring your data back if you didn't have it backed up somewhere else.
When you power the BrailleNote on or press reset, it is not recommended that you leave any cards in the BrailleNote. Was it the case that you had a card inserted when you did this?
