Hi when you download the messages a second time you will only get
messages not previously downloaded. If you do empty the trash after the
second
download, you will get all messages previously left on the server
including the ones you've read. In other words, it is cumulative.
You don't want to empty the trash until you've actually removed all the
messages from the server probably with the pc.
You can get quite an accumulation in your trash unless you do delete from
the server periodically. Also, after finally emptying the trash, it's a
good idea to free
database space from the keymail setup options menu.
Actually, you can free database space whenever you like without regard to
whether or or not you empty the trash. This may speed up operation of the
email
client in many cases.
