Hi Peggy,

You do need to unzip the file; there is only one file in there which is the
.bin file. You do need to copy that over to your flash card. Not sure if this
upgrade
will take a card in a pcmcia adapter on the side, but doubt it. I'd plug it
into the compact flash card on the rear as believe that's where the system
expects
to find the upgrade.

You should plug in the ac adapter.

Well, I'm on the download site and my 'puter says it's saving the file, but
it's not giving me percentages or time remaining, etc., so I hope it really
is. I do have a question or two though while waiting. <smile> Do we need
to put our cards in the back slot only and plug in our chargers like we did
with the initial upgrade? I didn't see it mentioned, and don't want to
hassle unhooking my GPS receiver if I don't have to; but I don't want to
assume anything either. Also, it talked about this being a .zip file. In
my experience a .zip file contains a bunch of files, but the readme only
mentioned copying one file over to the flash card. So is this .zip just
one file?

Okay, for everyone's info, if your 'puter isn't reading download info as
you download the upgrade, I just had my sighted husband look at the screen,
and the download is going, even though no info as far as percentage and
estimated time is being given.

Thanks. Am looking forward to answers to my questions.

Peggy
