Hi Listers,
Sorry but the no subject anomous thing happened again today when I downloaded
my email. I had 44 messages to download and all of them had that in them.
Each one I had to read to find out who it was from. I tried a reset after the
messages were downloaded but it didn't do any good. The messages weren't
anything different than my usual stuff mostly from email lists including this
list. I wish there was a way to download only one email to see if it is
screwed up before the Bn downloads 44 and then you have to read each one to
find out if it is worth reading or not. I just tried the regular reset maybe
the BN needs a 4-5-6 reset everytime it does this? I thought a regular reset
without any keys usually fixed this weird problem. Good thing must of my
emails I can figure out if they are worth reading within one sentence. Also
I'm glad it was only 44 messages that showed up this way. I did remove the
Etheernet card when I reset the BN. I have a BT by the way.
It seems to go in spurts this anonmous no subject thing. It seems to get
worse after downloading email just fine and then if I check for new email it
sometimes does the no subject no anomous thing. I wish there was a way to put
everything back on the server and have the BN download it again. Oh well the
pleasures of having a BN to check email. I seriously do not remember anything
weird like this ever happening with my PC but maybe I'm wrong. maybe this just
isn't limited to the BN.
I just cannot imagine the BN having a problem with 44 emails but whatever.
Any ideas would be helpful or if PDI would somehow fix this problem or put up
some message about none of the emails have subjects do you want to download
them something like that. Nothing is more frustrating when you download your
email to find they all say no subject anomous. It's times like this that makes
me wish I had a laptop.
