Hi Don,
My wife has downloaded all mail with her PC which deletes messages from the
server. When she uses her BN though, she is still receiving her old
messages should she download them from her BN, read and delete them,
download more mail and she get the previous posts plus her new ones back
again despite her deleting all mail with her PC.

Jim,
This is pretty obvious and you well may have done it already, but are you
absolutely certain she's downloaded all messages from the server? If a
message is not
getting downloaded off of the server for some reason, this would cause an
abnormal termination of the download process and the mail would not
actually be
deleted from the server as the deletion process actually occurs after mail
is downloaded.
Although I haven't had a similar problem in a long time, I have had email
receiving problems in the past and found it could be cleared by
downloading the mail
using a pc set to delete messages from the server.
Usually if the email download ends abnormally, there is some sort of error
message displayed, but I suppose it's also possible for no such message to be
displayed or else it was just missed.
Like so many things with the braillenote and other such products, a reset
isn't a bad idea either.
It's truly amazing, the wide range of problems that can be solved with a
reset.
