Lap tops can be unstable and crash more often. Also, they aren't as good at
handling foreign languages as the BN and this is from a Spanish major. Also,
I'm not trying to start a fight so don't take it for more than a suggestion.

Subject: [Braillenote] Suggestions for later upgrade:

Let me simply put my less than 2 cents worth in here before this list goes
off on some sort of suggestion tangant that this, folks is a pda and nothing
more. There are now little notebook computers about the size of a voicenote
which do what Sarah has suggested, I am writing on such a machine and they
are about 1 quarter the price of a Braille Note and you don't have to buy
pocket pc or pocket anything. You simply put whatever program you want on
the computer and fly.
Let's simply take these machines for what they are and realize that no
machine can do everything.
I have the feeling that some of these machines are breaking down simply
because we are asking too much of them. I think things will greatly improve
with this next upgrade but simply remember that these machines were
originally designed to be an adjunct to our computers and now with the
advent of these sentrino laptops you can have your cake and eat it too.

Mary Ellen Earls: Remember: Today is the tomorrow you thought about
yesterday.
