Hi all,

I have developed a very small command-line utility that will allow you to
view and set the memory division of your BrailleNote between the object
store and the program memory. This is an advanced tool for advanced users
who customarily change the working parameters of their device such as
their registry, though it has been thoroughly checked and has many built-
in traps for preventing errors and silliness. This fills the gap for the
remaining parameters which cannot be set in the registry. It can be used
to shrink the allocated program memory (of which a considerable amount is
not in use in a default configuration even though it is reserved) to get
you more space on your object store (the "KeySoft system disk"), or vice-
versa for cases where the running of large executables or the availability
of physical memory on the heap is important. The utility is provided with
source code under a BSD license. The binary supplied will run on MIPS
4100-series CPUs (i.e. both classic and updated BrailleNote and VoiceNote
motherboards). Use on other platforms will require a recompilation of the
source file.

If anyone is interested, please write off-list and I will send the
archive.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
