Tina:

I highly recommend using Outlook. Since Pulse Data upgraded the Braille
Note to Keysoft 5.10 I have been synching my Braille Note to my desktop
every day or so. With the recurring appointment feature, I can now synch
all my contacts all the way down to birthdays and anniversaries. The only
thing they do not synch that I would like to see happen is that the tasks
get synced Currently, I work around this by making my tasks appointments.
E-mail is only read on the Braille Note and saved on the PC. IF I have
critical documents that I want to backup or protect, I make a copy for the
Keysoft synch file and that file gets synched to the PC every time I synch
my appointments and address book.

Subject: [Braillenote] what to do with my bn for the future

oaner since I : just got my unit back after repair and am trying to decide
what to do for the next time it crashes. Other than backing up my data more
often, I can't decide if it is better just to get a loaner since that would
be helpful at work too, or if outlook is better to synk my files. I can't
get a spare machine for a few weeks if one's available which is what i am
thinking about doing. just wondering what other people do when their
machines go away. I am hoping this is something that doesn't happen often.
having to send it back.
