I found my password. Now if I ever need it, I know what it is! I did save my welcome message.

Oh dear dear Ann! It would be good if you didn't froth at the mouth like
that particularly when your facts are incorrect. As Dean has already said,
you can complete the form to receive a password at any time if you don't
know what your password is, and the password is included in your welcome
message when you subscribe. But passwords are not mailed out each month.
This is because in the main, most people simply read the list and leave it
at that. The password is not necessary to unsubscribe, since all one needs
to do is send a blank message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Had Mailman not been updated to permit unsubscribing without a password,
you can be sure we would be using some other list software. Hope this
clears things up.
