Hi John, I am doing some research for you on specific modems that we know
to work with the BrailleNote PK and will get back to you when I have the
information.

BrailleNote GPS is now working on the BrailleNote PK and is in beta
testing.

Subject
[Braillenote] to clarify

Hi list,
very sadly my friend's braille note has blown up and in the conversation
with him he says he cannot receive or send email.
this to me was strange as he has the pk.
apparently in the uk there is no modem that will work with the pk at this
moment in time.
I understand one can use wireless connectivity but I did not understand
that a modem is not available in the uk for the pk yet.
My grate worry is if I upgrade to the six point one on my old braille note

over hear in the uk will I still get this modem problem.
I am lucky as I have a nokia 7610 which cost three hundred pounds and as
it's main stream software I can email with html and do most things that I
need to do.
It will take time for the pk to be fully useable I understand but I hope
the uk customers are aware of spending such a lot of money on a grate
product but yet you cannot use the gps or the internet and email. Please
can someone tell me the situation regarding the six point one upgrade with

a modem in the uk. thanks.
