The only difference between the BrailleNote and VoiceNote is that the
BrailleNote has a Braille display, while the VoiceNote is a speech-only unit.
There is, however, a version of the VoiceNote with a Braille keyboard, a
version of the VoiceNote with a QWERTY keyboard, a version of the BrailleNote
with a Braille keyboard, and a version of the BrailleNote with a QWERTY
keyrard. Those with units that have a Braille keyboard are, by default,
required to enter Computer Braille into the "Subject" field, whereas a QT user
can just type text with the QWERTY keyboard as they would with a PC. On the BT
units, where text input is required (as opposed to Grade I/II Braille), the
user must type in Computer Braille; on the QT, one simply types the letters
when not inputting in Braille, and with Braille input in Grade I/II, one
switches to said mode and uses the S-D-F and J-K-L keys for the Braille dots.
However, by default, when in a field when input in Grade I/II Braille is not
permitted by default, the equivalent of simply typing the letters as one would
on a PC on a BT is to use Computer Braille (as opposed to pressing a number of
keys together on the QT to produce Braille dots). Hope this helps to clarify.
