Hi matthew. I am assuming you are a JAWS for Windows user, because Window-eyes and HAL have worked with the BrailleNote as a speech synthesiser under XP since XP came out. The answer is yes, some talented Keynote users have developed a driver for JAWS to use the BrailleNote as a synthesiser. It's about to go into beta, there are one or two issues to be resolved, but it is looking promising.

I'd like to connect my Braille Note and use it as a speech synthesizer on occasion. Or, is KeyNote available as a software synthesizer or even a hardware synthesizer? Thanks a lot.
