I don't know if the one I have uses USB at the phone's end. I know it connects just fine to the port on the bottom of the phone. As long as you select your make and model of phone, then the 9-pin serial cable, things should work out well.

Not sure what type of data conversion might have to take place here. Don On Wed, 25 Aug 2004 08:58:21 -0700, tina wrote: Hi. I saw both of Sprints models of that Samsung phone I liked on the supply net and apparently there's a serial cable for the qhone. I have been told though that the phone itself has a usb port so, doesn't that mean the phone will only work with usb cables now I'm confused. How does one port support both usb and serial if I'm being told the phone just has a usb port? I'm going to go site and see what else they have cables for. I have a friend with nextel who wants a pda and I keep trying to get her to get a braille note and she'd like to use the bn on the road like I do so it would be nice to tell her that she could get a cable for her Nextel phone. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
