I do not believe that PDI ever implied that the Braillenote would handle Word tables, in fact, they have stated in no uncertain terms that it would not.

It would also help to know upfront >which Ms Word versions get whatever support is available. Example, if >support is available for Ms Word 97 or 2000, say so, and let us know upfront >that ONLY CERTAIN TYPES OF FORMATTING are supported for these versions. >Sincerely, >Olusegun > Thank you. I don't remember seeing anything like that in the manual anywhere or in the Keysoft Readme files. If I've missed that info and someone points it out I'll gladly stand corrected. I must admit to being righteously indignant when I discovered the hard way that 6.11 still had problems with documents containing tables. Hello? Last I checked that ain't transparent document handling as advertised, folks, and I was ready to give some PDI executives a thorough tongue-lashing. I may still, as this whole issue just rankles with me and has me bent out of shape. As someone who uses the product extensively and who is in a position which behooves me to disseminate solid, reliable information on the BrailleNote and VoiceNote's capabilities to my customers so that they can make an informed choice, I want facts, not marketing hype.
