this is the most sensible solution I have heard so far and is my choice having
used the bn qt and gps for more than a year now.

The new case seems to work quite well, the only opening is there the serial
port plugs into the gps. What I'd do is just put the bn under my rain coat,
you should have an idea if it is going to possibly rain if you watch the
news, and if it might just have a loose rain coat that can fit the braille
note under it.
