Hi Les,

If the PM uses Pocket IE I wonder why it can't access such sites.

Subject: [Braillenote] BN and On-line Banking

As soon as 6.1 was announced with its support for wireless networking, I
became hopeful that on-line banking would be possible. That hope has now
become a reality. We're Bank of America customers, and I have successfully
logged into and utilized our account. I had some difficulty originally, as
the site prompts for signing in on the BN were different from those of our
PC. It turned out that the reason for this was that our account was
originally opened at Fleet which is currently being merged with Bank of
America. I've read and reread the chapter on the browser, and will still
reference it further, as I learn the various commands. I am very pleased
and congratulate PDI on providing this access. What's interesting is that
Bank of America does not support PDA access, so the fact that PDI developed
their own browser would appear to allow for this access. Note takers who
use the Pocket PC platform are apparently out of luck with this bank, I know
the PacMate cannot access this site. I'm still experimenting, but did want
to report on what I feel is a significant accessibility accomplishment for
those of us who perform on-line banking activities.
Best Regards,

Les
