The BrailleNote in question, which is absolutely wonderful, has version 5.1 burned into ROM. It's true, it has given me the warning about the flash disk not being available. A simple reset fixes the problem.

Ok, so would a Braillenote purchased in December, 2004 still have this older version burned into rom? The reason I ask, is that I have seen my fiance's brand-new Braillenote exhibit this behavior at least twice in the past two days. I can't imagine that this brand new unit (at least that's what they told us when we bought it) would still have this version of Keysoft burned into rom. But, what do I know? I do know that the flash disk is not available press reset message has happened twice in my presence. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, January 10, 2005 2:00 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: Re: [Braillenote] The flash dis is not availible? Hi Stacey, the version in ROM is the version that comes up after you've performed an SDF reset.
