Hi, I have only had my unit for about a year so I don't think the battery
needs replacing so it looks like I need to do the recalibration. So I need
to pick a time when the voice won't drive me up the wall.

Thanks,

Hi Sharon:

How old is your battery? Have you ever had it changed by PDI? If it has been
quite a long time since you purchased your unit, it's possible that you may
need to send it in to have the battery changed.

If your unit and/or battery is new, I would recommend a recallibration for
the heck of it, even though the gauge is displaying accurate, just to see
what happens. HTH, Laura
