Hi Eva,
I can answer at least one of your questions.
If you use a regular pc, you will have to buy a card reader to use the flash 
cards.
They're not very expensive, and they come with a cd rom that installs software 
to your pc that makes the card reader act like an extra drive.
You use it just like you would another drive.
