Hello, Kim,
Chat using MSN Instant Messenger is fairly easy for blind people. My friend
Kate and I chatted with each other almost every evening for at least two
years. I think she started out with Windows 95 or 98, then went on to XP.
I am sorry, but I have no idea of the details of how she did it. I just
finished chatting with two other blind young ladies tonight, one using MSN
IM and the other using Yahoo IM. It must not be too difficult.

How do blind people chat using a messenger client? I didn't think it could
be done in Windows (I chatted with DOS regularly back in the 90's).

hi list
i wonder, would it be possible to have an instant messaging client for the
braille note?
that way we can log in to our AOL, MSN accounts to get our msn conversations
going.
I feel that if we can access the internet with 6.1 wirelessly wouldnt it be
great to be outside in teh summer and be browsing web and chatting on a
version of msn messenger?
is there a windows CE version i could download and test for you?
regards, will
