Hi List,
I decided to go on an exciting search to determine whether "Royal Puddings"
were still on the market here in the United States. I use to hear their
ads on the radio when I was a small boy! I heard these ads much later when
I listened to some Old Time Radio Programs. I did the google search and
found a company called "Jelsert" bought this brand back in 2,000 along with
another brand of puddings I never heard about before. I went to
www.jelsert.com after a few tries with the google search and learned all
kinds of interesting information. I enjoyed very much using my BN to
navigate their site. I decided to check out an obvious competitor to
compare what information I would receive on the jello brand of
puddings. That took some doing! I could go to www.kraftfoods.com with JFW
and internet Explorer on my PC and find the information I wanted very
easily! The Braillenote is another matter however. It won't go to
www.kraftfoods.com. It simply locked up, or the display would show 95
percent while the BN beeped indefinitely! I even paid a visit to mother
nature to see whether the page would show on the BN after I returned! It
wouldn't! I decided to try to link up through Google to see whether I
could get right to the same information. I was close to what I was looking
for but I couldn't find the same exact page I found earlier in the day with
Explorer and JFW. I managed to get www.kraft.com with my BN and everything
locked up when I pointed to the "jello" brand.
I'm wondering why this happens? Is there not enough memory in the BN for
some sites? Is it due to graphics? What is preventing the BN from going
on some sites and not others? There is a site which intersepts my spam
mail for me, www.postini.com. My BN won't allow me to log onto this
site. I need to work it with JFW and internet explorer.
Needless to say there are more brands of pudding out there than I'll ever
sample in my lifetime! Most amazing! If you can give me an answer as to
why the BN locks up on some sites and not others, please pass your
observations here! If you wish to discuss puddings, please write me off
list!
Do have a wonderful braillenote, Voicenote day!
