If you're still within the document, press [BACKSPACE with Q], [CONTROL with Q]
to quit the document. You'll be prompted whether you wish to abandon changes,
so type Y for "Yes". Note that this would abandon ALL changes, not just
restoring the deleted word, if you had made any more of them since you opened
the document. In other words, this will restore the document to the last
version saved. However, if you've exited the document, as documents are saved
upon closing KeyWord, you can no longer recover the word.

However, if the document is a non-KeyWord type, you would be offered the
"Document was modified" prompt when exiting. If you had typed Y, N, or S (the
first option allows you to save a copy of the document as a KeyWord document,
the second only saves one copy in its original format, and the third does the
same as the second in addition to suppressing the "Document was modified"
prompt, meaning you would not see it again when closing that particular file
after making changes if you had pressed S at the prompt), your document would
have already been saved, and the error could not be undone. However, if you
press [SPACE with E], [ESCAPE] again at this prompt, you would receive the
prompt "Abandoning KeyWord", which would mean all your changes would not have
been saved. In other words, your word would still be in place when you opened
the document again.

HTH,
Maria
