Hi, I have successfully surfed, sent and received mail using gprs with my 6670. Assuming that your gprs is properly set up you need to check with your isp for two more settings.

1 the dial-up string. Try putting *99# into the pk.

2 In the 7610, go to menu, settings, connection and select gprs. Change "access point" setting from gprs to internet (all in lower case).

These are the settings given to me by my isp. I am not sure if they are the same for yours but no harm trying.

Subject: [Braillenote] bluetooth

Hi list,
putting this on as some of us might learn from it.
Dean, thanks for getting back to me concerning trying to do email and surf the net via my pk and phone.
I will try and explain what I am trying to do.

When at home I use my pk with my wireless connection to surf the net and do email.
all is grate with this set-up.
now when I am working away I need to do email.
I have the nokia 7610 with talks on it and I have set up my demon account on it via gprs. my demon account is a broadband account and my phone can send and receive email and surf the net. now it would be grate to have the pk with the braille read out of the email. at the moment I have set up the pk to use my phone as a bluetooth modem but I use it with my dial care4free account.
I have set it to get the demon email.
but this a dial up and is a bit slow.
how can I use the pk with my nokia and the demon broadband connection as when you go on the pk to configure a connection it asks for a telephone number? maybe this cannot be done with the bluetooth connection and can only be done with the usb cable not sure.
thanks for any help and sorry about the long post.
the pk is truly grate.
