There is no cable with the PCMCIA adapter. It is simply a card which slides into the big slot on the right side of your BN. Usually I place the flash card into the PCMCIA type 2 adapter, then I place the adapter with card into the right side slot (PCMCIA) into the BN. It will also work with a PCMCIA slot in a PC if that is available. My PCMCIA type 2 adapter was $12 at Costco at the time. No doubt it can be found easily in most computer stores. It didn't come with my BN.

Hi Stacey and List,
Okay thanks for everyone's explanation of the flash card reader. So this adapter for the PCMCIA slot it apparently did not come with the BN? I thought I got some adapter that was like a cable on one end and a plug time thing on the other. Small adapter thing. I'm willing to go buy one but if I already have one why buy one? I'm guessing computer stores should carry this item? Thanks!

Then you could put the card into the adaptor and slikde it into that side slot. If you also want to have a card in the back slot, just buy two CF cards and stick one in there without any adaptor.
