Hi Rhonda and Jane:

This message is from forever ago, but I just wanted to say that no, you
cannot choose which file format you want your files to be backed up in from
the utilities menu. In effect, the backup option is just a mass copying
option, so the exact copies of the files are backed up to whichever drive
you specify. So you can't choose which type of files you would like them
backed up as.

Also, you cannot back up the planner database, or any other keysoft
database, so that it can be read on a computer or laptop. You would have to
copy the records using templates into a txt or rtf file. If this has
changed, please someone correct me because I'd only be too happy to hear
that this has been fixed.

HTH, Laura
