When you're prompted to "Review the Options?", you can always just press ENTER
to accept the default of "No". To translate your ASCII text document into
KeySoft form, use the Import File option under the Translation Menu of the File
Manager. In the manual, you want to read the "From File" subtopic of "Import
File Topics". Look up the Index of your User Guide, and you will see the
"Import File Topics". The "From File" is a sub-topic of this reference.
Unless you change the file type during the import process, a text document is
set by default to import as a KeyWord text, and a Braille document as KeyWord
Braille; you change the type on a document-by-document basis. When you select
the destination location for the imported file and are prompted for the Braille
or text document name, you can change type by pressing [BACKSPACE with X],
[CONTROL with X] before typing in the document name; that isn't mentioned in
the section of the manual I referred you to, which is why I'm writing it here.
In your particular case, if you wanted to translate the document into KeyWord
type, you won't need to change type (you will be asked if you wish to translate
it into Braille, so you can have the option of creating a KeyWord text or
Braille document), but if you ever wanted to translate a file such as a .brf
file to a .txt file, changing file types would be useful. Reading the section
in the manual will guide you through the process of importing.

Maria
