Jonathan,
I have a question about this post. I am almost fanatical about emptying my
Email trash and freeing database space, and my flash disk always has at least
four MB available. However, when I have several hundred messages to download,
I still often have trouble getting them all, and sometimes I have to start over
several times before I can get them all. Also, especially when I have more
than about twenty Emails in the inbox, the client gets very slow and sluggish.
When I either move a message to another folder, or if I get out of the inbox
without moving any Emails first, it waits for about forty or fifty seconds
before responding. There is another problem I have, but it's a little hard to
describe. I will be looking through Emails and moving them from the inbox to
either the trash or other folders. After moving seven or eight Emails, the BN
gets sluggish and I have to wait a second for the response to each keystroke.
The only way to return the BN to it's normal operating speed is to get out of
the inbox and then go back in and resume Emailing.
Is this normal? Is there anything else I can do to speed things up a little?
Thank you in advance for any assistance, from anyone who cares to post on this
matter. All help is appreciated.

Sarah

Hi Beth, I suspect it is because I am careful about storage. If you run
out of room on your Flash Disk then clearly the e-mail client isn't going
to be happy. So if I know I am about to do a big e-mail download then I
move everything else over to the CF card. As I mentoined however, this
won't be necessary with the version 6 releases.
