Is your BrailleNote currently plugged into the same network as your Pc?

You should note that if you have DHCP enabled somewhere on your network, you
do not need to touch the BNIP program.

Yes, the Pc ip address is entered for the purposes of ActiveSync.  the
changes made to the BrailleNote with the BNIP config program are not
implemented till reset is pressed on the BrailleNote.

Other than the readme file for Keysoft, there is no information on the
program itself at the moment.
