Hi Jim,
Well, if you are running keysoft 6.11 it works every time when trying to
delete the backup folder you created with the backup program under the
utilities menu.
I Just created another backup using the backup program under the utilities
menu.
I selected the flash drive, the keylist folder and said to back it up on to
my compact flash drive with the folder name the program gave by default,
may 1 2005 backup.
I then went to the folder manager and pressed the letter E for erase, and
directed the braillenote to the compact flash drive the folder may 1 2005
backup and pressed the enter key.
it states "erase may 1 2005 backup folder sure?:
I pres y for yes.
It states: 0 folders erased 1 file erased the directory is not empty and
returns me to the folder manager.
I then press the letter E for erase and direct it back to the compact
flash drive, the folder may 1 2005 backup and press the enter key.
erase may 1 2005 backup folder and all contained files and folders, sure?
I press the letter y for yes, an dit states the following:
address list is protected erase anyways? I just press the letter Y for yes.
it repeats this message in my case 13 times with different protected file
names, and every time I press the letter Y for yest and it erases that file.
It finally states at the end, two folders erased 13 files erased and
returns me to the foler menu.
Works every time!
Again I am using keysoft 6.11 on a braillenote bt or qt unit.
Call me if you still have troubles or questions.
This works the same if trying to delete a folder with files you put under
it or a backup folder you creted with the backup program that comes with
the braillenote.
