Hi Don, my understanding from Sendero is that there will be a small charge
for the upgrade to GPS if you currently have the programme but want to run
it under Windows CE 4.2. There are some other fixes and changes in
addition to the work that has been done to get the software running under
Windows CE 4.2.

[Braillenote] gps for pk, and 6,1 upgrade.

I for one was very interested, not to say excited, at the announcement
concerning the imminent arrival of the gps for the PK. I regard myself as
being extremely fortunate to possess one of these highly responsive
devices, and of course we must expect to pay the commercial rate for this
PK program. However, I must confess to being very concerned that it
appears, that if I upgrade my Braillenote to 6,1, then I shall lose my
present gps, for which I have paid good money. of course, all Of us who
have bought this potentially very useful and interesting gps mark 3
program, are, so to speak, in the same boat. It makes me somewhat
hesitant to rush into this upgrade, though it obviously bestows many
benefits. I do sincerely hope that we are not going to be charged the
full price when the gps progam is eventually modified to work with the
Braillenote 6,1 upgrade. PDI have, in the past, always been understanding
in these circumstances, I trust they will still remain so.
Don Cooper.
